Abnormal load permits and escorts
Abnormal loads which exceed lengths of 18.75m, widths of 2.90m or weights of 44-tonnes usually require a special permit, such as the VR1 or BE16, which we can organise for you. We can also provide subsequent vehicles and personnel to escort your abnormal load if required.
Liaising with all necessary police authorities
In some instances, the police will have to be notified ahead of your abnormal load transportation, either to arrange a police escort, or to grant permission for the journey. RS French will do this all for you, ensuring your goods are delivered safely and in accordance with all legal requirements.
